The Fes to Marrakech 3-day tour offers a perfect blend of Morocco’s natural beauty, historical architecture, and rich culture. Starting from Fes, this journey takes you across Morocco’s scenic mountain ranges, through traditional kasbahs, and into the vast Merzouga desert. Over the course of three days, travelers will experience camel treks, visit the famous Aït BenHaddou, and discover the stunning gorges and valleys of Morocco. This 3-day tour will lead you to some of the most iconic sites, giving you a true taste of Moroccan heritage and adventure.
- Day 1: Fes - Ifrane - Monkey Forest - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga Desert
Departure from Fes towards the desert, passing through the Middle Atlas.
Stop in Ifrane, known for its alpine architecture and green landscapes.
Visit to the Cedar Forest in Michlifen National Park, home of the Barbary apes.
Continue to Midelt and the Ziz Valley, known for its impressive oases and palm groves.
Arrival in Erfoud, famous for its fossils, before reaching the Merzouga desert.
In Merzouga, we change the 4×4 for dromedaries for a ride through the desert dunes until we reach the haima camp.
Night under the stars in the desert, with a Berber tea as a welcome.
- Day 2: Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud - Todra Gorge - Boumalne Dades
Sunrise over the dunes of the Merzouga desert, followed by breakfast and return to Merzouga on camels.
After a shower, we leave by 4×4 towards Tinghir, also known as “the mountain city”.
Visit to the impressive Todra Gorges, with its rock walls over 200 meters high.
Continuation towards the Dades Valley, famous for its high gorges and panoramic views of the Atlas.
Night in a riad in Boumalne Dades, surrounded by spectacular landscapes.
- Day 3: Dades Gorge - Rose Valley - Ouarzazate - Aït BenHaddou - Tichka Pass - Marrakech
We cross the Dades Valley and the Rose Valley towards Ouarzazate.
Visit to the Kasbah of Taourirt in Ouarzazate.
Continue to the Kasbah of Aït BenHaddou, famous for its traditional architecture and as a setting for films such as “Lawrence of Arabia” and “Babel”.
After a short drive, we cross the Tichka Pass towards Marrakech.
Arrival in the Red City, Marrakech, and farewell to the guide.
