Today is dedicated to exploring the vibrant city of Fez on a guided tour. We’ll wander through the narrow alleyways of the ancient Fez el Bali medina, discovering its hidden gems, bustling souks, and historic landmarks. Highlights of the tour include the iconic Bou Inania Madrasa, the historic Al-Attarine Madrasa, and the serene Nejjarine Fountain.
After exploring the city’s rich cultural heritage, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at a typical Moroccan restaurant before continuing our exploration of Fez. In the evening, you’ll have free time to wander the labyrinthine streets of the medina or relax at the riad.
- DAY 3: FEZ TO MERZOUGA VIA IFRANE AND MIDELT
After breakfast, we’ll bid farewell to Fez and embark on our journey towards the majestic Sahara Desert. Along the way, we’ll pass through the charming city of Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and marvel at its unique architecture and lush greenery.
Continuing our drive, we’ll traverse through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains, making a stop in the picturesque cedar forest of Azrou, where you might encounter friendly Barbary macaque monkeys. After a delightful lunch in Midelt, we’ll continue our journey through the captivating landscapes of Er-Rachidia, arriving in Merzouga in the late afternoon.

- DAY 4: MERZOUGA DESERT ADVENTURE + CAMEL TOUR

- DAY 5: MERZOUGA TO DADES GORGES
As the desert awakens with the first light of dawn, we’ll bid farewell to the Sahara and return to Erfoud by camel. From Erfoud, we’ll journey to the magnificent Todra Gorges, where you’ll have the opportunity to explore the towering limestone cliffs and picturesque surroundings.
Continuing our adventure, we’ll make our way to the stunning Dades Gorges, renowned for their dramatic landscapes and breathtaking vistas. Here, you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night in a cozy accommodation, surrounded by the natural beauty of the gorge.
- DAY 6: DADES GORGES TO MARRAKECH VIA OUARZAZATE
After breakfast, we’ll depart from the Dades Gorges and make our way to the historic town of Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Along the way, we’ll visit the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a stunning example of traditional Moroccan architecture and a popular filming location for Hollywood movies.
Continuing our journey, we’ll traverse the breathtaking landscapes of the Atlas Mountains, passing through picturesque valleys and charming Berber villages. Finally, we’ll arrive in the vibrant city of Marrakech, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night in a beautiful riad, surrounded by the magical ambiance of the city.
