- DAY 1: CHEFCHAOUEN TO FEZ VIA VOLUBILIS
Your journey begins in the captivating blue city of Chefchaouen, where we’ll pick you up from your hotel. Our first destination is the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the well-preserved remains of this once-thriving Roman city, known for its intricate mosaics and grand architecture.
Next, we’ll visit Moulay Idriss, the holy city nestled in the hills, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Immerse yourself in the rich history and spiritual significance of this sacred site before continuing our journey to Fez.
Upon arrival in Fez, embark on a guided tour of this historic city, delving into its vibrant medina, Royal Palace, Jewish quarter, and renowned souks. Witness the traditional craftsmanship of Fez’s artisans as you explore the tanneries and ceramics shops, marveling at the intricate designs and vibrant colors.
After a day of exploration, unwind and relax in the charming ambiance of a traditional riad, where you’ll spend the night.
- DAY 2: FEZ TO MERZOUGA DESERT
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll depart from Fez and head towards the enchanting landscapes of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we’ll make a stop in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and encounter the mischievous Barbary macaques in Azrou’s cedar forest.
Continuing our journey, we’ll pass through the scenic Ziz Valley, dotted with lush palm groves and rural villages, before reaching Erfoud, known for its fossil discoveries. From Erfoud, we’ll venture deeper into the desert until we arrive in Merzouga.
In Merzouga, you’ll meet our camels and embark on a camel trek into the heart of the Sahara Desert. Traverse the mesmerizing sand dunes of Erg Chebbi as the sun begins to set, casting a golden glow over the desert landscape.
Arriving at our tented camp, immerse yourself in the magic of the desert as you enjoy a traditional Berber dinner under the starlit sky. Spend the night in the comfort of a nomad tent, surrounded by the tranquility of the Sahara.
- DAY 3: MERZOUGA DESERT TO OUARZAZATE
Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara dunes before enjoying breakfast at the camp. Afterward, bid farewell to the desert as we journey back to Merzouga on camelback.
Once back in Merzouga, freshen up and prepare for the next leg of our adventure. We’ll drive through the stunning Todra Gorge and Dades Valley, marveling at the rugged beauty of the landscape and encountering Berber nomads along the way.
Continuing our journey, we’ll pass through the picturesque Rose Valley before arriving in Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the Sahara. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the historic Kasbahs and immerse yourself in the rich culture and heritage of this ancient city.
After a day of exploration, relax and unwind at our hotel in Ouarzazate, where you’ll spend the night.
- DAY 4: OUARZAZATE TO MARRAKECH VIA AIT BEN HADDOU
Our final day begins with a visit to the iconic Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most famous landmarks. Explore the ancient kasbah and learn about its fascinating history and cultural significance.
Afterward, we’ll ascend the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, offering panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and peaks. Pause for photo opportunities along the way before descending into the vibrant city of Marrakech.
In Marrakech, embark on a guided tour of the city’s highlights, including the Koutoubia Mosque, Saadi Tombs, Bahia Palace, and bustling Djemaa El Fna Square. Experience the magic of Marrakech’s vibrant culture and traditions before concluding our journey with the spectacular FANTASIA dinner performance.
