4 Days Desert Tour from Tangier to Marrakech
- Day 1: Tangier to Chefchaouen and Fez
Your private desert journey kicks off with a hotel pickup in Tangier. We’ll first explore the captivating blue-white city of Chefchaouen, celebrated for its charming streets and local crafts. Roam the medina’s narrow alleys and reach Plaza Uta el Hamam. Following lunch, we continue our adventure to Fez, where we’ll spend the night in a traditional riad.
- Day 2: Fez to Merzouga Desert
Leaving the imperial city of Fez behind, we traverse the Middle Atlas mountains en route to the mesmerizing Erg Chebbi dunes of the Sahara Desert. Along the way, we pause at Midelt, Erfoud, and Rissani. Upon arrival in Merzouga, savor a camel ride into the desert, culminating in a memorable night at a desert camp, complete with a delectable dinner and peaceful slumber under the stars.
- Day 3: Erg Chebbi Desert to Todra and Dades Gorges
Today, we set our sights on Tinghir to marvel at the awe-inspiring Todgha Gorges, adorned with steep canyon walls and striking red tones. Take a leisurely stroll through the oasis nestled within the gorge valley. As evening approaches, we retire to Boumalne Dades, where a cozy riad awaits us for dinner and overnight accommodation.
- Day 4: Dades Gorges to Marrakech
After a hearty breakfast, we journey through the scenic Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna, famously known as “the way of the 1000s kasbahs.” Delve into the rich history of Ouarzazate and explore the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, the largest of its kind in Morocco. Finally, we traverse the majestic High Atlas mountains, arriving in the vibrant city of Marrakech to conclude our unforgettable adventure.
